Rachel's approach: I believe that knowing oneself, or having a positive self-concept, is the foundation for a healthy and balanced life. I use an evidence-based and integrative framework, especially utilizing psychodynamic, internal family systems therapy, and cognitive behavioral techniques, to support this therapeutic growth. I understand how painful it is to feel alone, trapped, out of control, stuck, and scared. Nevertheless, I also have confidence in the power within each of us to grow, change, and overcome; and I know it is not always possible to do it alone.
