I understand how painful it is to feel alone, trapped, out of control, stuck, and scared. Nevertheless, I also have confidence in the power within each of us to grow, change, and overcome; and I know it is not always possible to do it alone.

Rachel is a Chicago based therapist who practices virtually.

Rachel (she/hers) aims to create a safe, collaborative, and compassionate therapy environment to empower clients, help them achieve their goals, and assist them in finding a more balanced and positive self-concept in order to gain relief from symptoms and find inner-peace. She has experience working with young adults and adults in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, life transition issues, self-esteem issues, eating disorders, trauma, adult children and parent relationship issues, emotion regulation issues, and stress management. Rachel uses an evidence-based and integrative framework, especially utilizing psychodynamic, internal family systems therapy, and cognitive behavioral techniques, to support therapeutic growth. Rachel believes that knowing oneself, or having a positive self-concept, is the foundation for a healthy and balanced life.
